Rich's ComixBlog - http://comics.shipsinker.com/
I stumbled upon this back when he well within the first 50 pages of The 10 Doctors, a Doctor Who comic with, well, all 10 Doctors. He finished that and Forever Janette, a Doctor Who/Forever Knight crossover, and is now working on Stalker of Norfolk, yet another Doctor Who comic with the 3rd Doctor. He does other comics, but the Doctor Who one seem to be his primary focus.
Brawl in the Family - http://www.brawlinthefamily.com/
The earlier comics are relatively uninteresting, mostly being Kirby of eating things but has changed greatly (and for the better) as time went on. The art isn't all that impressive, but some of the strips are amusing, especially the Christmas ones (nods to the Grinch and currently A Christmas Carol) as well as the 50th comic's parody of Calvin and Hobbs and the 200th's "Ode to Minions."
Awkward Zombie - http://www.awkwardzombie.com/
One of the issues I have with Awkward Zombie is that it seems to go on hiatus often. The art also isn't anything impressive, but there's a number of Smash Bros. related strips which I find fun to read.
Melonpool -http://www.melonpool.com/
Melonpool's been relatively inactive for some time, though to be fair its been around or some time (since 1996 or so, making it one of the oldest webcomics.) Its follows a crew of misfits (a Star Trek-obsessed alien as captain, a telepathic dog as helmsmen, another grouchy, coffee-addicted alien as the engineer, and a giant hamster as the... engine) who get stranded on Earth.
Roomies/It's Walky/Joyce and Walky - http://www.joyceandwalky.com/
Oh dear... Like Melonpool, this series/franchise has been around for a long time (in fact, it crossed over with Melonpool during the It's Walky run.) To try to sum it up, its about an extraterrestrial fighting organization fighting of the Alien race... okay, that's mostly a subplot during Roomies and the background of It's Walky... I don't think I can some it as a whole.
Shortpacked -http://www.shortpacked.com/
An indirect spin-off of the whole above series. It features three characters from that series with the setting taking place in a toy store. It basically is a parody of geeks and toy collectors, with a few stand-alone comics.
Mutant Ninja Turtles Gaiden -http://www.obscurezodiac.com/
A fan comic of TMNT done in a manga style. Splinter's dead, Leo's gone off to redeem himself, Raph's become a bit of a lazy, obscene slob, Mike's living with April, Casey Jones, and their daughter Shadow, and Don's isolated himself and basically lost it. It introduces a fifth turtle, Renoir, who was first scene as a savage turtle who killed on of Shadow's classmate and in the process absorbed his personality. It tends to be very violent at times.
Agency -http://www.drunkduck.com/AGENCY/index.php
Agency is something of a crossover, though most characters are giving a more original role though some of the character choices. The Pink Panther is the head of a struggling detective agency who is desperate for work when Krystal (ala Star Fox) approaches him in search of her husband and son. Other characters, like Shadow the Hedgehog, Secret Squirrel, and others, join the case. My type of crossover, actually.
Well, that's a few of the comics I've been checking out from time to time. Figure I butchered the explanation for most of them.
